Why we exist

Kenya proved that the most important software can run on the most basic phone. Mobile money did it on USSD. Since then, most new products have been built for the smartphone minority.

We think the bigger opportunity, and the more useful work, is with everyone else.

Where we started

LogicNest grew out of Tedd Kamami's research into how job seekers without smartphones find work in Kenya. The answer was mostly word of mouth, site gates and luck.

That research became KaziConnect. LogicNest Limited was set up in Nairobi to build it, and to build the products that come after it on the same team and standards.

How we're set up

One company, separate products

LogicNest Limited is the company. Each product gets its own name and brand, starting with KaziConnect, so it can earn its own reputation while sharing one team, one set of standards and one back office.

Working in pairs

A technical pair builds and runs the platforms. An external pair handles partners and outreach. An admin and growth pair keeps the company compliant and funded.
